Bussing Information

Buses will run between St. Ignace and the Staging Area on the day of the Crossing.

⏰ Option 1: Before the Crossing

🕔 Time: 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM

​

If you are staying in St. Ignace and prefer not to drive to the Staging Area:

• 📍 Pickup Location: Little Bear Arena (St. Ignace)

• 🚜 This is where tractors arrive after the Crossing

• 🚗 Parking: Available across the street in the designated lot

⚠️ Important Parking Notice:

• Do NOT park in the Little Bear Arena lot or along Ojibwa Trail

• Vehicles parked there will be towed at your own expense

• There will be no warning before towing

➡️ Buses will take you directly to the Staging Area

👥 On-Site Assistance:

• Staff will be available at the buses to help with questions

• Please follow staff instructions to help keep things running smoothly and on time

🎟️ Last-Minute Tickets:

• A limited number of tickets may be available for purchase at the bus

• Availability is not guaranteed

🔁 Option 2: After the Crossing

If you drove to the Staging Area and left your vehicle there:

• 🚌 Buses will take you from Little Bear Arena back to the Staging Area

🕥 Time: Approximately 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM

• Times may vary based on demand

• Buses may wait briefly before departing to allow more passengers to board

 

🎟️ Bus Pass Information

• 💲 Cost: $5 per person

• 💵 Payment: Cash only

• 📅 When to Buy: Wednesday – Friday before the event

• 📍 Where: Information Tent at the Staging Area

• ❗ Note: Passes are non-refundable
